Dr. James Silberzweig is a highly experienced, board-certified interventional radiologist with over 30 years of clinical expertise. Specializing in hysterosalpingography (HSG) and fallopian tube recanalization, Dr. Silberzweig is renowned for his compassionate approach to patient care and his deep understanding of the physical and emotional challenges his patients face during these procedures.
Dr. Silberzweig received his medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School and completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He went on to complete a prestigious fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Montefiore Medical Center, gaining specialized training in minimally invasive procedures.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Silberzweig is a Clinical Professor of Radiology at Mount Sinai's Icahn School of Medicine. He has also been the Director of Interventional Radiology at Continuum Health Partners and the former Residency Program Director at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, where he played an important role in training the next generation of radiologists.
Dr. Silberzweig’s contributions to the field are widely recognized. He is a fellow of the American College of Radiology and the Society of Interventional Radiology. His extensive research and publication record includes pioneering work on interventional techniques, radiation safety, and vascular procedures.
